A netizen shared his experience wherein their flight was delayed up until the following day. There was no verbal notification that their flight will be delayed until 6:45am. They were able to know about the flight delay thru the sign on the terminal.
The verbal announcement was just made when passengers chased down the staff who were leaving already.
From 10:30am up until 6:45am, no food, water nor options for accommodations were given to the stranded passengers. He even contacted the airline and was put on hold for an hour then decided to hung up. Since then no one answered his call.
"Hi, has anyone here had trouble with Cebu Pacific? I had the one of the worst experiences in flying with this airline. Our flight 5J258 was scheduled to leave Seim Reap Cambodia on Sept 27 at 1030pm. We arrived at the airport at 8pm, checked in and waited by the terminal for our boarding time, which was supposed to be at 945pm. 12 midnight rolls around and there was no staff at the terminal. We were notified that our flight would be delayed until 645am the next morning by simply changing a sign.
As the staff were leaving, after they changed the sign board, they were chased down by angry passengers who were going to miss international connecting flights. After Cebu Pacific's staff was chased down on their way out, they finally made an announcement that the flight would be delayed until 645 the next morning.
We were given NO food, NO water, NO option for accommodations and we were not even allowed to leave the airport. I called the airline and was put on hold of 1hr, then hung up on.
I've attempted to contact the airline again and I've been ignored"
