Youtube is a great tool for monetizing as vloggers? earn from there. We've heard vloggers who earned millions by just uploading videos of their cute little pet animals. But do you know the legalities they face when their videos get called out for copyright claims?

Jason Magbanua is a wedding film-maker-extraordinaire in the Philippines who was in no exempt from copyright claims. On a Facebook post, he stated that a local TV network asked for his permission for a footage of his works to be used in one of their TV programs. But to his surprise, his original content was called out on Youtube for a copyright claim.
For content creators who earn from Youtube's monetization, this is a big issue that they must face as it could not only ruin their income but their career as well.
Hello GMA Network.
It's ridiculously funny that we wedding content creators are always asked by your network for footage to show in your programs.
We always agree, regardless of how late you ask or even pre-empt our permission.
But this takes the cake - YT flags my original content because it appears in your news program?!
Wait what? You borrow my footage, stick it in your show, then I get called out for a copyright claim on images which I shot and music I had composed?
Well fuck me.
I'm equal parts furious and incredulous at the situation.
Oh sorry, good morning to all! Hope y'all wake up to better circumstances.
