A magnitude 5.2 quake struck off Cagayanon Thursday morning according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Cagayan, Philippines - The quake's epicenter was located 45 kilometers southwest of Calayan town and struck at 4:27 a.m. according to Phivolcs.
Claveria, Cagayan felt an Intensity 2 level wich is described as "Slightly Felt," or sensed by few individuals at rest indoors. During such earthquakes, hanging objects swing slightly, and water in containers move noticeably.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, struck at a depth of 19 kilometers. Phivolcs said the quake will not cause damage and is not expected to produce aftershocks.
