Nestle said that they made a "slight shift in flavour" but the Kiwis feel it is not slight. It is said that the formula is to make Milo healthier for children.
The essential ingredients remain the same - malted barley, milk powder, sugar and cocoa but additional vitamins were added. D, B3, B6, B12 were added while vitamin A, B1, magnesium and vanilla flavor where taken out.
There's no confirmation yet if the South East Asian countries are affected as well. But if we are, would we like or hate the new Milo flavor? That's for us to know yet. But surely, we will miss the original Milo flavor that we grew up with.
