Towing companies must be responsible and knowledgable on how they should tow vehicles. In this video, it is clearly shown that what they did to tow this poor Range Rover is completely wrong!

The Range Rover manual clearly says:

Only tow the vehicle in a forward direction with all 4 wheels on the ground. Towing in a reverse direction or with only 2 wheels on the ground, will cause serious damage to the
transmission.

The recovery agent MUST activate the Emergency Park Release before towing commences. This procedure is covered in a separate publication for service personnel.

If transmission Neutral (N) is selected and the engine is then switched off, the transmission will automatically select Park (P) after 1 minutes has elapsed. At this point if the emergency Park Release has not been activated and the vehicle is being towed,
serious damage to the transmission will result. There is also a danger to personal safety.

Also, that is not the proper way how to tow a 4x4!

Even though the owner of the Range Rover commited a violation (parking), the towing service must handle the vehicle with proper care!

To the towing company and the people on duty, do you even know how to tow? Then why start such business in the first place?
