A lot of us travel from work to home around 1 - 3 hours everyday. You wait 30 minutes just to get a bus or ride the MRT and the rest, you either sit or stand on the way to your destination. Imagine your time wasted everyday! Aside from the long commute hours, add to that the hot and humid weather! So by the time you get to your destination, you are already stressed out!
So how do we remain productive despite the long commute hours?
- Read a book - If you are just sitting in the bus or train, go grab a book. Feed your mind by reading a book or a novel. If you are standing, you can also do so by listening to audio books.
- Make a to-do list - It would be best if you have an organizer, planner or even a small notebook with you. But nowadays, our mobile phones already have built-in apps that lets you organize your daily activities. Plan your day by listing what are the things you will be doing when you arrive at work until you arrive back at home. With this, you would be able to get things done faster since you already know what to do next.
Aside from the list above, how do you remain productive despite the long commuting hours? Share it here!
