On a Facebook post by OFW Family, they shared a concerned netizen who experience shopping during a sale day in SM wherein the sale price is much higher than the original price!
Isn't suppose to be that the sale price should be lower than the original price? But in the post, it is seen that the yellow sale tag is priced at 2,400 pesos but the original white price tag is priced at 1,599.79 pesos!
Is the "Sale" day just a modus to lure people into buying their items wherein the sale price isn't really on sale but priced at a much higher rate than the original?
We need an explanation on this from SM Supermalls. We are open for their statement on this.
