Yu Je-ha had enough of his Mercedes Benz and the poor after sales customer services of the car dealership where he bought his car. Engine failing several times and even brought to the car service still, the car was not fixed.
The said Mercedes Benz cost around $500,000 and was bought last March. September 11, he parked the car in front of the Shin Shung Motors, picked up a golf club and started smashing his black Mercedes Benz.
South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport conducted an investigation and see it the car has technical defects.
According to Kim Yong-seok, spokesperson from the transport ministry, "Without the submission of a petition from a customer, we have the authority to check a car if we think there is a technical problem, which is guaranteed by the law to protect consumers."
